In JSPL Safety Comes First: Atul Misra

 

“Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) is committed for Zero Harm and collectively we can do it,” said Executive Director (I/C) and Unit Head Mr. Atul Misra, while addressing a huge gathering of employees, workers and contractors during observation of 47th National Safety Day at JSPL’s Angul Steel Plant. “The management is really thankful to all of you for adhering the safety norms and regulations of our organization. JSPL is committed for ‘Zero Harm’ in its Operations. It is not only confined to any individual’s life but also it reflects the work culture of a plant and a happy family life,” he further added. He also administered Safety Oath on the occasion.
JSPL’s Angul unit observed the 47th National Safety Day with a series of sensitization programmes for its employees, workers and community members in and around the plant. During the observation of the safety week, various competitions & trainings will be organized among Employees of JSPL, Contractors and their employees. Competitions like Safety Slogan, online safety quiz and Fire Fighting demonstrations for JSPL and contractor employees will be also held during the week long safety week programme.
EVP & Head (Iron Making) and Factory Manager, Mr. Damodar Mittal presented the Welcome Address. Mr. Samar Suri, EVP; Mr. A.N. Tiwari, EVP; Mr K. Sahu, VP,  Mr. P.K. Pradhan, DGM-Safety and other senior officials were also present at the function.  The inaugural program was concluded with proposing vote of thanks by Mr. B.P Singh – HOD Safety.
