JSPL Supports Safety in Small Scale Industries of Angul Region

A safety awareness program was organized by Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) at M/S Amritesh Industries Pvt. Limited (AIPL) under the Guidance of Asst. Director of Factories & Boiler, Angul UK Samantray. The program was organized as a part of “Safety Buddy Program” initiated by the Directorate of Factories & Boilers, Odisha. An experienced team from JSPL consisting of Ravi Kant Somani (Corporate Head -Occupational Health & Safety), NavinGautam (GM – Safety) and David Samantray (AGM – Fire & Safety) visited M/S Amritesh Industries and shared different methods and techniques of safety with all workers, officers & managers.Ravi Kant Somani expressed his keen interest in supporting this initiative for the cause of saving lives and preventing all injuries to the workers in the small scale industries through awareness programs. JSPL would provide every possible support in establishing the safety system where all employees of the AIPL would participate and make their workplace safer, he assured.
The safety awareness program was very well received by all participants. Asst. Director of Factories & Boilers chaired the session and appreciated the efforts of JSPL management. Rajendra Behera (GM, AIPL) conveyed vote of thanks to Asst. Director of Factories & Boiler, Angul JSPL team and for such initiatives & support.
