CII is pleased to announce the dates of the “CII HR Excellence Assessor Training Workshop” for organizations during 20 – 22 May 2019 in Bangalore, 19 – 21 June 2019 in Mumbai & 24 – 26 July 2019 in Kolkata.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) had instituted the National HR Excellence Award in 2009 in an effort to partner industry in their journey towards HR excellence and collaborate with HR thought leaders to establish a credible precedence along with a set of benchmarks and best practices that can be emulated across organisations over time. This Award has been well received by the Members and has now become an annual feature of CII activities.

CII, as part of strengthening the talent pool of Assessors and develop internal facilitators in Organisations for the adoption of the Model CII HR Excellence Assessor Training Workshop, is being organised. This Award is aligned with several criteria of the CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence with an exclusive focus on the HR domain.

The objective of this Workshop is to train more HR professionals on this Model and enhance the quality of assessment of HR Excellence Award. This is essentially a peer assessment framework. Apart from, having an understanding and learning of the Model, participants will also get an opportunity to assess the Internal Systems and Practices of the applicant during the site visit. The Assessors will also get an opportunity to interact with senior professionals to get deeper insights into business and HR processes and also provide an external perspective to the Applicant as a Value-add. This three-day workshop (non – residential) is aimed at developing skills for assessing the effectiveness of various management approaches and their deployment for achieving HR Excellence. The course is newly designed and is aligned with the EFQM Excellence Model.

The Objectives of the Workshop are:

To get an integrated view of management for HR Excellence and meet the increasing business challenges

To equip the participants with the necessary management and assessment skills for measuring the effectiveness of various management initiatives taken by an organisation towards HR Excellence.

The Excellence Model – an integrated view

Integrating Assessment with Business Planning and Improvement
EFQM Excellence Model and the HR Excellence Framework
Syndicate Exercises on Assessment and Consensus Scoring
Developing a Status/Position report of the organisation for internal assessment or award application
Assessment of Strengths and Areas for Improvement

Faculty

Mr K R Shivakumar, Principal Counsellor &  Head- Business Excellence, Confederation of Indian Industry; CII Institute of Quality will be the faculty for the workshop.
